Meet Sonia Mendoza, Owner & Director
We are conveniently located on Milwaukee Ave, just outside of downtown Chicago. We accept ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. We participate in the Tummy Food Program of Metropolitan Chicago and exceed all expectations and requirements. This includes breakfast, hot homemade lunch, and A.M and P.M snacks. We are city licensed with the City of Chicago Health Department. We also meet all the necessary requirements to insure a healthy and clean, safe environment for the children enrolled. Our bathrooms are designed for children utilizing child-sized toilets, sinks, and mirrors. Each toilet has a privacy panel for their comfort, our child bathroom has been made for comfort and independence.
Ms. Amanda Pena, WPK Director
Ms. Amanda Pena I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois I was born and raised on Thomas St. and raised in this community until present. I earned my Bachelors degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University I graduated in 2008 and I am currently working towards achieving my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a mother of three beautiful children Aiden, Abigail and Amanda. I have been extremely fortunate to have built a stable foundation learning hands on through my Mother who has been my inspiration I have worked with children and families and watch them grow for over 22 years and I have much pride working with our family owned Day Care businesses. I am committed as I have always been dedicated to all families enrolled by providing all our families a productive educational curriculum, loving and nurturing foundation, I want to insure that every child will be filled with wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
